At nearly 4200m, Jbel Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa and a popular trekking destination. The ascent is no piece of cake and will require decent levels of walking fitness but our friendly and experienced team here at Splash Morocco will do our best to ensure you have a memorable trip.
Our itinerary runs as follows –
Leave Marrakech for Imlil in the High Atlas Mountains. Here we buy last minute fresh supplies before starting the 5-6 hour trek to the Toubkal Refuge where we spend the night.
Early start leaving sleeping bags and other unnecessary kit at the refuge and heading for the summit (approx. 3 hours). After checking out the view and taking the obligatory summit shots, we head back to the refuge, collect our kit and descend to Imlil and then onwards to Marrakech.
We include accommodation and food at the Toubkal Refuge, transfers from Marrakech and a fully qualified, experienced guide with every group.
Price – £150 per person
